Boat Checks

May 8

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is going to conduct boat checks again this year. They will inform the boaters of what is required and check if their boat is in compliance. If the boat is in compliance the boater will be given a sticker showing that they have passed the check. If they don’t pass, the boaters will know what they need to do. There also could be some insurance discounts if they do pass.

Download a Weed Treatment Consent Form for treating the invasive weeds in the lakes. The DNR requires BLCLA to get the consent of the lakeshore owners. The form is for three years. Please fill out every thing in red. The bottom part is for this year 2010. This middle part is for 2011 and the top is for 2012. If you are a Big/Mitchell Lake lakeshore owner and haven't already filled it out, please do so and send it to:
